Architecture Committee
Lynroy Thomas (chair), Joe Cichocki,  Gerrit Marks,
Jeff Gagnon,   Bryan Smith
This committee is responsible for
upholding the standards set forth by the
covenants and the
guidelines governing home improvement
projects. All homeowners must submit
approval for exterior home projects such as
construction of retaining walls, pools, ponds,
fences, dog houses/pens, attached and unattached
garages, storage sheds, decks, patios, and other
house additions. Large scale landscaping
projects such as mass plantings (defined as
adding 15 perennial plants or more), and
drilling wells for irrigation purposes must also
be approved. All homeowners are reminded that
they must submit a
request for
approval and receive approval for projects
prior to beginning the projects. Failing to do
so may result in fines for covenants violations.
Homeowners are reminded that they must obtain
the proper permits and inspection paperwork for
all projects and submit copies of them along
with detailed plans for the improvement project
with their Request for
Project
Approval Form. The local, state, and county
laws supersede any HOA regulations and
homeowners must obey the DOT "right-of-way"
(from street line up to 15 feet into the
property) rules. Anyone erecting structures or
plantings greater than 12inches tall in this
area will be asked to remove them. For safety
reasons, at no time shall homeowners be allowed
to erect a structure or planting that blocks
visibility of their driveway entrance or
mailbox/house number.
